Ban on Muthalik extended

"If Muthalik is not prevented from entering Goa, then it can become a serious issue as his aggressive statements will create fear in the minds of public and tourists," said Mohanan. Panaji: District magistrate, North Goa, Neela Mohanan has extended the ban on the entry of Pramod Muthalik, leader of Sri Ram Sena, and his associates in North Goa for 60 days with effect from January 17, in view of the February assembly polls.The order issued on Monday states that Muthalik's presence or that of his associates could lead to a serious law-and-order problem in the poll-bound state.Muthalik and his associates have been banned in Goa since 2014.
