JAIPUR: A 20-year-old girl in Kota on Thursday left a suicide letter at her house. Claiming that she is ending her life as her mother suspected her alleged affair, though the cops have yet to trace her body.The girl identified as Bhavna was a student of a government college in Kota and was living in R K Puram area of the city. "On late Thursday night, we recovered a suicide letter from her house. The girl alleged that she was distressed over her mother's suspicions about her alleged affairs. Though, we have not been able to trace her body yet," said Ramkishan, the investigation officer in the case, adding that a search operation is underway to trace the whereabouts of the girl.The police had received a complaint from the parents their daughter has gone missing from the house. "The parents informed us their daughter has been missing from home; therefore, we went to their house where we found a note that girl had left behind," Ramkishan said.The police teams searched nearby rivers, and other places to find the body of the girl, "We have yet to recover her body. We are exploring all angles in the case to check if the girl indeed ended her life, and if yes, where has she gone as nobody saw her body," police said.The police said they are quizzing people to get more details about the girl, "The girl left the house after leaving the suicide note . Efforts are being made to find her," cops said.Dinesh Bhardwaj, SHO, Nayapura, said that entire Kota city was searched along with all the river banks, hospitals and clinics to check the whereabouts of the girl. "Based on the family's complaint the district police searched the entire city, though, we have not found any clue of her," he added.A top police official on the condition of anonymity said that girl is suspected to have fled from her house.
