After watching the content, he offered Rs 10 to the little girl who is undergoing treatment at the surgical ICU of the J K Lon Hospital. This was revealed by the Jaipur police on Wednesday after making the arrest within 24 hours after the heinous crime.The cops are now aiming at filling the chargesheet within seven days. Police has also seized the cellphone of the accused and would use it as an important evidence against the accused.Kunwar Rastradeep, deputy commissioner of police (East), addressing a press conference at his office on Wednesday, said, "The arrested accused identified as Vikas Paswan has no signs of regret. After committing the heinous crime, he fled from the scene. He was though planning to run away to his native village he was not having enough money.""We were keeping a close watch after collecting some information about him. Finally, after the technical surveillance he was arrested by our team from Ramsinghpura village near Sanganer. He had food at his friend's house and stayed there in the night," Rastradeep added."We will try to file an early charge-sheet in this case and urge for a faster conviction. His mobile phone would also be used as evidence," he added.Police have already registered a case under appropriate sections of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act 2012.On the other hand Dr. Ashok Gupta, Superintendent of J K Lon hospital, said, "We have allowed her oral intake and she is improving."
