T-20: Spectators not to enter Green Park after 4pm

Kanpur: The spectators would not be allowed to enter the ground after 4 pm to witness the T-20 match between India and England to be played at Green Park on January 26.The district administration had asked UPCA to print the time on the tickets. After 4 pm, all the gates would be closed.The host UPCA has been asked to release only 25% tickets of C balcony. The forest department was instructed to prune the branches of trees inside the stadium. This decision has been taken to make the entry in the stands smooth, district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma said. Clay and bricks lying inside the stadium would also be removed.The UPCA and sports department officials were asked to check the floodlights and generator of floodlight towers.

The match would commence at 4.30 pm. This decision has been taken to make the entry in the stands smooth, district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma said. After 4 pm, all the gates would be closed.The host UPCA has been asked to release only 25% tickets of C balcony. Some parts of this balcony is in bad shape. Therefore, it was decided to release tickets in a limited number.Due to security reasons, the retired persons of sports department would not be allowed to stay at the stadium. The residential accommodations of the retired persons would be vacated by January 20. Clay and bricks lying inside the stadium would also be removed.The UPCA and sports department officials were asked to check the floodlights and generator of floodlight towers. In was decided to improve amenities at dressing room and commentator's box. The white wash or colour paintings should be completed in all parts of the stadium by January 20. The chief minister's and director' pavilion should be decorated in due time and they should be equipped with cable network.The list of companies which would sell the food articles inside the stadium during the match would be directed not to sell the articles more than maximum retail price.Four ambulances would be made available inside the stadium. The officials of Kanpur municipal corporation were asked to remove encroachment near VIP gate and close the garbage dump house near VIP gate and make arrangements to lift garbage after the match. Two new gates would be used during the match. The forest department was instructed to prune the branches of trees inside the stadium.
