Foundation stone laid for LED street lighting system

B. Kobiga, MLA of Thirubhuvanai Assembly constituency, on Monday laid the foundation stone for LED street lighting system on the stretch from Madagadipet to Thiruvandarkovil, a release said. Local Administration Minister A. Namassivayam, Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy and senior officials were present. Member of Parliament R. Radhakrishnan had sanctioned ?48.50 lakhs under his MPLAD scheme for the work.
