Rajamahendravaram: ONGC led by Basin Manager Dr P Chandrasekhran, has extended aid of around Rs 45 lakh to schools in East, West Godavari and Krishna Districts under Corporate Social Responsibility on Wednesday. The financial assistance was disbursed by Mr A V V S Kamaraju GM-Head Forward Basin, Rajahmundry in Godavari Bhavan at Base Complex to the school teachers and others. 25 schools received the financial assistance towards, school infrastructure and RO Plants. The programme coordinated by Mr B V Ratnam DGM He sought the cooperation of the beneficiaries in spreading the message of ONGC’s contribution to the society.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kamaraju said that the ONGC is committed to the development of the operational areas and will put extra efforts for improving the development index of the region. He also said that the ONGC has immense potential and technical prowess to take on operational challenges and it does not compromise on anything that is against the on safety of the employees, communities and its environs.
