Leaders woo voters via social media

Before Virbhadra Singh, transport minister G S Bali was active on social media especially on Facebook for live interaction with people. Live interaction also gave people from remote locations to raise their issues with him.Kunga Bodh Anuji demanded to send specialist doctors including surgeon, gynecologist and medicine to the hospital of Lahaul-Spiti . Recently, he had gone live while addressing a rally in Haroli assembly constituency of Una district while on Monday again he was live during a rally in Bhoranj assembly constituency of Hamirpur district. While Dr. Anchal Sharma asked to ensure cleanliness and better roads in the state to attract more tourists.It was during this interaction that someone suggested Virbhadra Singh to remain available on WhatsApp and he immediately agreed and provided his WhatsApp number to public. It was on Facebook that Bali had announced to hold a rally to take the issue of unemployed youth.But this rally has been cancelled as Virbhadra has already announced to provide unemployment allowance in the budget.Leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal too is making maximum use of social media as he is live streaming his rallies in the state.
