According to the police report, the Sidharth was driving BMW X5 sports utility vehicle at higher speed and he lost his control, which resulted to this accident where 3 people suffered minor injuries.
Immediately the police arrived on the spot and arrested Sidharth under sections 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way), 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of the others), 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of the others) and 427 (Mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) before initiating their investigations. The actor was taken into custody and sent for a medical examination.
