Shilpa Shetty apologises for her 'Bhangi' comment

Shilpa Shetty stated in an interview that she looked like a ‘bhangi'  which appears from her statement that she is encouraging and spreading ill-feeling among the entire society.

A few days back we reported to you that Valmiki community had lodged an FIR against Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan for using the word ‘Bhangi’ in public.

Well, now the actress Shilpa Shetty took to Twitter to apologise for her comment.

She wrote, “Some of my words from an interview in the past have been misinterpreted.It was never said with the intent of hurting anyone’s feelings. I apologize if they have. I’m proud to belong to a country that boasts of diverse castes and creeds and I respect each one of them.”

However, Salman Khan hasn’t reacted yet regarding this issue.
