The Kashmir valley was recreated in the filmcity as the makers were unable to get the necessary permissions to shoot in the Valley due to the unrest in the Valley.

A huge chunk of the film is the effect of VFX, a gigantic set was constructed at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
