Priyanka Chopra terminates contract with Nirav Modi

Well, the latest development is the Bollywood actress has terminated her contract in light of the allegations of fraud against billionaire jewellery designer.

The actor’s spokesperson has confirmed the news.

In a statement to the media persons, spokesperson of Priyanka Chopra said, “In light of recent allegations, Priyanka Chopra has chosen to terminate her contract with the Nirav Modi brand,”

Recently, the state-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) said it had detected a Rs 11,400 crore fraud where Nirav Modi allegedly acquired fraudulent letters of undertaking from a branch in Mumbai to secure overseas credit from other Indian lenders.

This is not it, quashing the reports of suing Nirav Modi, Priyanka’s spokesperson said, “There are speculative reports that Priyanka Chopra has sued Nirav Modi. This is not true. However, she is currently seeking legal opinion with respect to terminating her contract with the brand in light of allegations of financial fraud against Nirav Modi.”

The actor had appeared in a TV commercial for the brand along with Sidharth Malhotra.
