A 45-minute-long song and dance segment will kickstart in the latest edition of IPL and we really can’t wait for it.
Last season several stars including Katrina Kaif, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Amy Jackson performed at various opening ceremonies organised across the country on different days.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Ranveer will be paid a whopping INR 5 Crore for a 15-minute performance at the opening ceremony.
As per sources, “He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organizing team was always clear that they wanted Ranveer as a performer and that’s why he has been offered such a huge amount,” a source had previously told Indian media."
According to further reports, the team behind IPL is currently focusing on creating a ‘spectacular’ opening ceremony, which may feature even more Bollywood stars such as Priyanka Chopra shaking a leg at the event.
