Ranveer Singh on his instagram wrote "June 4th, 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. See you in cinemas.
Earlier the movie was expected to hit the theatres on April 10,2020 but due to the nationwide lockdown induced by the spread of COVID-19 the dates had to be moved further.
The movie tells the story of how the Indian cricket team defeated West Indies to clinch their maiden World Cup in 1983.
In the movie Ranveer Singh plays the lead role . The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi as their coach PR Man Singh. Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films present 83, a Kabir Khan Films Production.
