It was only a few days back we reported to you that Shah Rukh Khan promised to meet the cancer patient Aruna PK after her recovery. Well sadly, Aruna PK has passed away after battling the disease for six years at 60.
Sharing condolences to Aruna’s children, Akshat and Priyanka, SRK took to Twitter, he wrote, “
A retired Indian Railways employee, Aruna was born in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar. She lost her husband in 1998 to Hepatitis B. She is survived by her children Akshat and Priyanka.
Her son’s friend, told a leading daily, Aruna was diagnosed with third stage ovarian cancer in February 2011 and blood cancer in July 2017, Parikshit Sachdeva. She was admitted in Gurgaon’s Artemis Hospital and was a die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fan.
