In a shocking turn of events, filmmaker Kannan Rangaswamy of ‘Dhayam’ fame passed away after suffering a massive heart attack at a private hospital on Sunday.

A month ago, the 29-yr-old director was admitted to a hospital after suffering the attack. His condition reportedly deteriorated and he was in coma for 15 days after which he succumbed to death on 29th October.

He was known for his psychological thriller film – ‘Dhayam’ that starred Jayakumar, Samaira Sandhu, Aanchal Singh, Santhosh Singh.

His last post on social media said “Heartfelt sincere wishes to all those who wished on my birthday. Will try to entertain you more giving good movies and remaining a good friend to you all. You all made my day.”

Celebs and friends have paid condolences on social media.
