Even though Diwali is over, Jeep still seems to be in a festive mood as it is offering benefits of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on purchase of the Compass SUV. Furthermore, customers can also avail additional offers and cash benefits by contacting their nearest Jeep dealership.
The Compass comes with two BS4-compliant engines - a 1.4-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. While the petrol unit produces 162PS/250Nm, the diesel churns out 173PS/350Nm. The top-spec Compass Trailhawk variant, on the other hand, features a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that is good for 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque.
Jeep is expected to introduce BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines across the model range by the end of this year or early 2020 and prices are bound to increase. The yet-to-be-revealed Jeep Compass facelift is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2020.
