The nation relies heavily on tourism and particularly on Indian tourists as India happens to be its second fastest growing tourist market.
The Indian High Commissioner to Maldives, Sanjay Sudhit said in a statement, “The air travel bubble will also help regularise the flow of Maldivians seeking medical treatment to India.”
