As per reports, a resolution has been drafted by the parliament that now states that the date has been extended till October 15. Referring to this, the Italian Prime Minister stated that the extension was inevitable and that there was no other way to keep the country safe.
The existing rules that include travel restrictions, wearing face masks, and social distancing, will be reviewed by ministers again. In all likelihood, an updated decree is expected to come into force in the coming days.
