AGARTALA: Led by social media rumours of child-lifters on the prowl, an irate mob lynched a garment-seller and bashed up two of his aides and his driver in the Murabari area of Mohanpur in west Tripura on Thursday. While Jahir was beaten to death with sticks near a Tripura State Rifles camp, Khurshid and Guljar, along with Swapan Miah (driver), managed to escape by taking help of some TSR jawans.
