AGARTALA: The council of ministers in Tripura has approved disbursement of Rs 6,000 each among farmers having less than two hectares of agricultural land under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PMKSNY). "We had decided to provide the first instalment of Rs 2,000 to farmers having less than two hectares of agricultural land as soon as the PMKSNY was announced. He added that altogether 1.28 lakh land deed recipients under Forest Right Act will benefit from the scheme.
