Tripura police resorted to lathicharge against several lockdown violators in Agartala. To prevent public gatherings of any sort, police reportedly kept a strict vigil on the public movement and no one was allowed to go anywhere without valid papers. Even though most of the people stayed indoors, there were, however, a few who moved out defying the lockdown protocols.
