Tripura exempts fees of students amid COVID 19 crisis

The Tripura government has decided to exempt fees of school/college students partially. Earlier the State Government appealed to all the private schools and colleges not to increase the fees for this year. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said the decision on exemption of fees has been taken considering the COVID-19 situation. The education minister said schools and other educational institutions across the State would not reopen for the time being. The education minister also said the State Government had exempted all 5,92,247 school students from payment of different kinds of fees at the rate of Rs 30 and 35 per month..
