Miscreants on Sunday attacked Tripura Congress president Pijush Biswas at Bishalgarh in Sepahijala district. Biswas reportedly went to Bishalgarh to attend an organizational meeting, when miscreants suddenly attacked him and vandalized his vehicle in front of the Congress office. The goons also thrashed seven or eight Congress supporters who were present on the spot. The Congress leader filed a complaint against the assailants at the Bishalgarh Police Station.
