No information regarding arrest of NLFT leader in Bangladesh Tripura police

Tripura police has said that they had no information relating to the alleged arrest of a top National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) leader in Bangladesh. A section of media reported that NLFT vice-president Utpal Debbarma was arrested on Sunday in Chittagong in southeast Bangladesh. A Tripura police officer on Monday said it had no credible information to confirm the arrest of Debbarma. He, however, confirmed that the NLFT leader has been operating from his hideouts in the neighboring country.
