Childline police rescue 11 girls including minors from ISBT in Agartala

A joint team of Childline and East Agartala Police on Wednesday recovered 11 girls including 9 minors from Chandrapur Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT). The girls were taken to Agartala from the Reang refugee camp in Kanchanpur. A man of the Reang refugee camp took them out of the camp with an assurance to their parents that their daughters would be engaged in jobs in Agartala. Sangeeta Barui, a Childline worker, informed that some people at ISBT on suspicion apprehended the person, who took the girls along with the girls.
