Tripura 11 tribal girls rescued from clutches of trafficker one held

Tripura police have rescued 11 tribal girls from the clutches of a suspected trafficker. The rescued tribal girls are now at the Child Line's home, who had helped the police in their rescue operation of these girls, two of whom are 18-years-old and others below 18 years of age. The rescued children are inmates of seven Reang relief camps in Tripura. There are around 35,000 Reang tribal refugees in relief camps in Tripura. They took shelter in the relief camps after fleeing from adjoining Mizoram 24 years ago, following ethnic strife in that state..
