4 NLFT militants who fled from Bangladesh camp surrender in Tripura

Four National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) militants, who were trained in Bangladesh, have surrendered before security forces in Tripura. The Bangladesh-trained militants, according to a media report, fled from a camp of the outfit in the neighbouring country on January 31. They received training in Bangladesh camp, police said. “Presently, the NLFT outfit has been facing serious financial and organisational crisis. The statement quoting the surrendered militants said: “Feelings frustrated with the present predicament of NLFT outfit and continuous pressures and motivation of Tripura Police, they joined the mainstream of the society.”.
