Regularise jobs of SSA teachers Tripura High Court tells State Government

Tripura High Court on Tuesday ordered the State Government to regularize jobs of all the teachers who are working under Sarbya Sikhya Abhiyan (SSA) in the State. Senior lawyer Purushottom Roy Barman, who represented the SSA teachers said that more than four thousand primary and upper primary teachers under SSA will be benefited from this verdict of the Tripura High Court. Senior advocates Purushottom Roy Barman, Soumik Deb and Samarjit Bhattacharjee argued in the court on behalf of the SSA teachers. The case was heard by a 2-judge bench of the Tripura High Court comprising Chief Justice AA Qureshi and Justice SG Chattopadhyay.
