The film was to be released on Eid last year, but due to the Covid-19 epidemic, theatres remained closed in lockdown and like many other films, the release of `Radhe` had to be postponed
The makers announced to release the film on 13 May this year, when the Covid-19 situation turned a bit better, but Radhe`s release took another blow as the second wave of Covid-19 wreaked havoc in the country.

According to a report, the film will release on the big screen at three theatres in Tripura.
