UP GRP to launch an interstate drive to catch criminals

Agra: Government Railway Police (GRP), Uttar Pradesh has planned to launch an inter-state drive against crime on board from the next month, where wanted criminals will be arrested and prosecuted. In this regard additional director general, GRP, BK Maurya chaired a meeting with railway police officials of six states, in Agra, on Wednesday. This allows space for unauthorized vendors to operate. This is for the first time the state GRP had called for a coordination meeting with multiple states.Besides UP, the interstate coordination meeting which took place at the circuit house was participated by superintendents and circle officers from Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh.
