Basic shiksha adhikari directed to ensure teacher-student ratio in primary schools

AGRA: Given the skewed teacher–student ratio at many government primary schools , state government has issued directions to the basic education department to ensure that set norms be followed. That is why schools in rural areas were being run by shiksha mitras (contractual teachers). Standard teacher-student ratio will be ensured at all schools.”According to basic education department records, a majority of schools with no permanent teachers are in Fatehabad, Jaitpur Kalan, Kheragarh, Jagner, Bah, Pinahat, Sainya, Baroli Ahir, Akola Fatehpur Sikri , Etmadpur, Shamshabad and Khandoli blocks. The committee will have BSA as its secretary, a member nominated by the District Institute of Educational and one block education officer.
