AGRA: Shambhulal Regar (35), the man arrested for burning and lynching of a Muslim man last year in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand is likely to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls from Agra. Later, Regar’s video message went viral in which he stated that he had burnt the man to “save a girl from love jihad”. He further said Mayawati too should come forward to support him.Dismissing the charges against Regar as “routine”, he said “many parliamentarians are facing serious cases”. He said after Yogi Adityanath came to state politics, no vocal votary of Hinduatva is left in the parliament and Regar will fill this void. He said, Regar is not being supported by other political parties as he killed a muslim, a community which is treated as a strong vote bank by each party.He said, if the BJP claims to be supportive of Dalits, they should come forward and support him..
