Python found inside Hindustan College, rescued by Wildlife SOS

We have had similar incidents in the past for and contacted Wildlife SOS. They immediately reported the incident to college administration, who in turn contacted Wildlife SOS team for help.A trained snake rescuer from the wildlife conservation NGO rushed to the campus with necessary rescue equipment in hand. The snake was rescued safely by the Wildlife SOS team and is currently kept under observation.A late night distress call on the Wildlife SOS 24 hour helpline alerted the organisation’s rapid response unit to the presence of a large python inside the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Management (HITM) campus. AGRA: A nearly 8 foot long Indian Rock Python was found inside the Department of Mechanical Studies at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Management (HITM) located on National Highway 2 (Agra-Mathura Highway). Not many people are aware that pythons are non-venomous, and these reptiles often get killed when they venture into human surroundings,” Baiju Raj MV, Director Conservation Projects, Wildlife SOS said.The Python is currently kept under observation and soon will be released back in to its natural habitat..
