BJP MP demands regular check of hostel rooms in AMU

It seems that AMU authorities have no control on its students. The MP has even suggested the vice chancellor of the university should step down if he is unable to control the students.In his letter, the MP said, "It is unfortunate that AMU students tried to perform prayers for the terrorist Wani. "If this exercise had been in place, Wani would not have become a terrorist," said Gautam, adding that this is the failure of university administration. He said that no one can become a terrorist overnight.He said, "the campus atmosphere is not good. Anti-govt and anti-national programs are being organised to promote such activities.".
