B.Ed scam: SIT seeks service books of 5 Agra varsity staffers

Agra: Allahabad High Court-monitored special investigation team ( SIT ) probing the B.Ed scam at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University has sought the service books of five employees. Now, SIT has demanded the service books of these employees to check their role in issuing fake B.Ed marksheets. The BA and B.Com certificates of these candidates are fake.In the matter, SIT had found involvement of five employees — Rajesh Sharma, Swami Saran, Ram Jindal, Bablu Bhatnagar and Anil Srivastava — in the fake B.Ed scam. SIT has also sought details of internal action taken against them in an old matter of suspicious academic certificates of the university.”According to an internal source, the service books of the five employees have gone missing. While Rajesh Sharma was sent to jail, four others got bail.Meanwhile, university administration did not take any action against any of the five employees.A senior university official said, “SIT has demanded original service books of five accused employees..
