Sitapur judge’s steno beaten to death in Mathura

AGRA: A 42-year-old steno of a district & session court Judge of Sitapur was beaten to death by his neighbours over a property dispute in the village Chandpur Khurad , Mathura on Thursday.According to police, the incident occurred around 6 am when the deceased, Mahesh Chandra , was going to relieve himself. He said police force has been deployed in the area, as a precautionary measure. He was lynched by his neighbour, Gynanedra and his associates at their house. The suspect allegedly tied the victim with a rope from a tree and beat him with sticks and iron rods.Mahesh’s relative Nirdosh Kumar immediately called police control room for help. Police took the victim to the district hospital from where he was referred to SN Medical College, Agra, where the doctors declared him brought dead.Nirdosh told media that there was a dispute between the accused and the victim over construction of wall near their house and the matter was resolved yesterday..
