This is for the first time BLO duties have been assigned to sanitation supervisors.There are 100 municipal wards in the city. Agra: Sanitation services have been affected in a major part of the city as several sanitation supervisors has been appointed as booth level officer (BLO) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. As a result, civic cleanliness has been affected in Shahganj and Chatta zones of the city, which is divided into four zones. The matter will be discussed with the district election department.”According to sources, sanitation inspector Pawan Kumar who got transferred to Kanpur three months has also been assigned BLO duty..
