Agra: Mayor Naveen Jain on Saturday laid the foundation stone for “Kanha Upvan”, a shelter facility for stray cattle to be built on around 12 hectare of government land near Hathras road in Trans Yamuna locality. The project was aimed to provide shelter to at least 2000 stray cattle. Initially, the shelter facility will be developed for cows and oxen. In the first phase, the facility is expected to shelter around 800 cows and oxen.
