E-auto rickshaws may soon ply on Agra city roads

In this regard, application of a private company for permit to sell e-auto rickshaws is under consideration.According to officials, the plan is aimed at reducing dependence on CNG and cutting down air pollution in the city. Besides, those using the e-three wheelers will also be spared of noise pollution.However, the cost an e-auto rickshaw is higher than its CNG-operated variant.
