Agra: National Commission for Scheduled Caste (NCSC) chairman and sitting MP from Agra Ram Shankar Katheria will contest Lok Sabha elections from his home constituency Etawah. Katheria has represented Agra twice in 2009 and 2014.According to insiders, BJP MLAs and party workers in Agra were not in favour of Katheria’s re-nomination. However, sitting MP Ashok Kumar Dohre is from BJP. Dohre had defeated Samajwadi Party’s candidate Premdas Katheria by 1.72 lakh votes in the last Lok Sabha polls.
