AGRA: The basic education department had sent a wrong report to the state government concerning out-of-school children in Agra district . The matter came to the fore after directorate, basic education released a district-wise list of the out-of-school children.To increase enrollments in state government-run primary schools, the basic education department had launched a special programme, “Sharda- School Har Din Ayein”. I am trying to figure out how a report of 284 children was sent to the state government. A survey conducted by the department had found that more than 1,500 students were not enrolled in any primary schools in 15 blocks of the district.
