35 CCTV cameras to monitor dubious activities on district border

AGRA: Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, the district administration has started work to install 35 CCTV cameras on road barriers at the district borders by the next week to make sure illegal liquor, weapons or unaccounted cash does not enter or leave Agra.Additional district magistrate (ADM) (city) KP Singh said, “The district borders will remain in 24-hour surveillance of CCTV cameras. The district administration has identified 35 spots where barriers and CCTV cameras will be installed.The administration and police have identified 30 villages near borders where there is a possibility of illegal liquor supply. All suspicious vehicles crossing the border will be checked by police teams deployed at barriers.
