Fake college notice asks girls to get a boyfriend before Valentine’s Day

In a mischievous act, a fake notice on the official letterhead of a prestigious college asking girl students to compulsorily have at least one boyfriend before Valentine`s Day was widely circulated on social media.

The letter reads "single girls would not be allowed to enter the college premises." Meanwhile, the principal of St John`s College in Agra said no such directives were issued and that the letter is fake.

The matter is being probed, he said.
The letter with the heading "attention students" that has gone viral on social media reads: “It is mandatory for all girls to have at least one boyfriend by 14 February.

This has been done for security purposes.

Single girl students will not be allowed to enter the college premises.

They will have to show a recent picture with their boyfriend.
