‘Shut off oxygen for 5 minutes, identified 22 who will die’: Probe ordered into viral clip of Agra hospital owner

The alleged incident took place on April 26 or April 27 when the state was facing a massive medical oxygen shortage.

The video was made on April 28.

The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered to seize the hospital and shift the patients to another facility.

An FIR is also likely in the matter.

The district administration, while denying there were 22 Covid-related deaths on April 26-27 at the hospital, has ordered the ADM (City) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to investigate the video and look into the matter.

Talking to The Indian Express, Agra DM Prabhu Narain Singh confirmed that the person heard in the video is Paras Hospital owner Arinjay Jain.
