To tackle festive rush, UPSRTC to increase frequency of buses, cancel leaves

Meerut/Agra/Bareilly: In order to tackle festive rush, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has decided to increase frequency of buses across the state from October 17 to October 24. Besides, the transport corporation has cancelled the leaves of all employees during this period. To ensure full attendance of drivers, conductors and other staffers, special incentives have been announced for UPSRTC employees working in these eight days.“During this time of the year, there is a sharp rise in the number of people taking UPSRTC buses. On the other hand, contractual drivers and conductors will get 55 paisa per every extra kilometer covered in these eight days. The idea is to enhance efficiency and ensure convenience to passengers.”.
