GujCET to take place on Apr 23, says GSEB

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has announced the date for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GujCET) which will be conducted on April 23. Whereas for Biology and Mathematics, 40 questions of 40 marks for each subject will be asked and 60 minutes for one subject will be given to students. The GujCET will be based on the syllabus of Class 12 Science subject. For Chemistry and Physics, 40 question for each subject making it a total of 80 questions and 80 marks will be asked and students will be given 120 minutes. The state government had replaced the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), introduced in June 2013 with previously held GujCET from the academic year 2017 for students through a notification issued in 2016..
