Ahmedabad | Sunday | 22nd April, 2018

Summary:

To avoid the fake admissions, the state government this year has not allowed applications from rented accommodation people. At Jodhpur shala number 2, teachers deputed for the duty have been keeping list of phone numbers parents living on rented accommodation and do not have valid. With the state government this year excluding applicants living in rented accommodation, in order to prevent fake applications, few officials at the RTE froms receiving centres walk an extra mile to help them. While this may be a good move to ensure valid applications, experts believe that the decision of the state government is likely to exclude and impact huge numbers. Last year, there were more than 300 applications from children of migrating labourers whereas many locals would also be residing in rented houses..
