Gujarat rain crosses half-way mark

East-Central Gujarat region, which also comprises Ahmedabad, has received 38% rainfall so far, while north Gujarat has received 27.5%. South Gujarat region, which receives the highest rainfall among all parts of the state, has received over 67.5% of average rain so far. As against the 30-year average of 1,435 mm, the region has received 969 mm rain so far.
