Gujarat: Water in reservoirs up, but still only at 35%

Summary:

All 204 reservoirs, including Sardar Sarovar Dam, received 10 crore cubic meter water in the last 24 hours. The water storage of all these schemes was 9,437 million cubic meter(MCM) and that reached at 9,518 MCM by Friday evening. Also, on the contrary, the storage of water in dams across Gujarat also perturbed several major schemes, including Sardar Sarovar Dam on Narmada. Panam increased at 26,925 cusec from zero while Damanganga dam also recorded inflow of 24,685 cusec water on Friday. The water inflow in Sardar Sarovar Dam jumped from 3,461 to 18,752 cusec on Friday..
