According to the Ahmedabad Municipal corporation (AMC) standing committee chairman Amul Bhatt, the civic body will soon start inspecting all the government colonies under also Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Rajiv Awas Yojana, Indira Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana within Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation limits. After Odhav's housing colony was evacuated, we have decided to audit structures of other housing colonies. It is to be noted that on August 26, two buildings in Odhav's government housing colony collapsed and a person also died. The new housing colony would have ground plus seven floors, including commercial establishment.
